Gratitude Free Thanksgiving Printable 8x10

'Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful
things humans can do for each other'
- Randy Pausch

Download and print! 8X10 size. Free for personal use, not for commercial use.

This free printable would be a pretty addition to your fall themed fireplace mantle. Another idea is to have it framed and displayed among the Thanksgiving side dishes as a gentle reminder to show gratitude to all those who went to great effort to prepare the meal!

Blessings-

Come, Ye Thankful People, Come Free Thanksgiving Print...

There's just something about old hymns that resonate within my soul.  I think it's because I feel connected to the church of the ages, all those Christians who have gone on before us.  I think about multiple generations of my family who must have sang this hymn every Thanksgiving.

I've decided I need more hymns in my life. Not just SINGING them, but reading the rich words.

I have another printable for you! This .png printable is free for personal use only.  It is a full (no white frame edge) 8x10. Just right click, save and print.

I pray you and yours are having a wonderful Thanksgiving season!

Blessings,

Fall Pumpkin Spice Latte Print...

Oh yes, it is FALL.

School has begun, its been chilly every morning and I have a strong sudden desire to wear chunky cable sweaters and sip a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Mocha.

You know what that means, right!?

That's right, the Pumpkin Spice Latte print is going back on the wall!

Of course, it is here for you to print and hang on your wall so you too can stare at it all day:

I believe it's 11x14.

Last fall when I did the Ruffles & Rust show I designed this fall Pumpkin Spice Latte print which I printed out on fabric and made some fall throw pillows. I LOVE this print (its an 8x10) and it's free for you to print and frame:

I decided it might need a bit more 'oomph' and made a few more with some added fading and stuff:

And another variation with a burlapish weave:

Left click image and hit 'Save image as'. Upload to Costco (or wherever) and get it printed! Go through the Starbucks drive thru and get a Pumpkin Spice Latte to sip on while you drive to pick up your Pumpkin Spice Latte print. It's really the only correct way to do it.

Happy Fall Y'all!

First Day of Preschool Printable, oh my!

Oh yes, my Lil Chick is starting preschool!

It's not really very much time per week, but it's still preschool. She is so very excited after watching Bubbalu be dropped off at his preschool class the past two years.

Of course I needed a 'first-day' printable for her too!  I am loving aqua chevron right now and was really liking how the sign was turning out....got carried away and WHAM. New blog design :) Because I can. It's certainly the cheapest makeover a gal can get!

Here ya go! And once again, feel free to use and share:

Off to pack a lunch!

First Day of Kindergarten Printable, oh my!

Hoo boy, busy over here with school stuff.

*** Drum roll ***

Bubbalu is going to Kindergarten. WHOA.

I know, BIG changes will be happening around here!

He is so stinkin excited, and I gotta say....SO AM I.

I am NOT sad about this new stage. This boy has been ready for Kindergarten...oh....about two years ago: Academically, socially, um...how to put this delicately? His brain is on fire and only constant feeding this fire with new exciting information, teaching difficult problems and providing constant challenges and puzzles will sate this inferno

There. That about covers it. Yup.

So, I've been seeing on Pinterest all these lovely photos of kids on their first day of school with cute chalkboards that say 'First Day of Kindergarten' or 'First Day of Third Grade' etc etc...but there is just one problem.

I have horrible handwriting. No S+ was EVER earned for penmanship in the Amanda report cards. Just a lonely S. No plus.

So. I made one to print out. MUCH more fun!  I take any chance I can get to use a chevron print....and I can use his current favorite (OK, its MY favorite boy color combo, but whatevs) color combo of orange and navy.

If you have a little one heading into Kindergarten soon, feel free to right click, copy, save, whatever and print it out.

Alrighty, I'm off to stare into my fridge and wonder what in the world I'm going to pack in his first day of Kindergarten lunch.

Any and all suggestions regarding lunchbox items that will not only keep him healthy and fed but well adjusted, emotionally stable and feel like the luckiest kid on the planet are heartily welcomed!

Pumpkin Spice Latte Printable...

I am digging this fall weather.

Yup, I am soooooo done with summer. Unless someone wants to take me somewhere tropical. Then maybe I'd be OK with some sunshiney goodness.

Finally got this put back up on my wall this week!

Ah yes, good ole pumpkin spice latte....that MAY have something to do with my being DONE with summer. Just maybe.

Print it out, frame it and drink one:

YUM.

Other than that, I have one tiny ceramic pumpkin sitting out...and that is as far as I've got decorating for fall.

I'm thinking I need to do something more.

I know! How bout I line up all my used Sbux coffee cups and turn them so you can see the PSL on the side?! It'd be a conversation starter, that's for sure :)

I'm Raising a Human Being...

Seriously, thank you thank you all for your kind words of support and kindness regarding my 'Parenting a Spark Plug' post from Monday.

It's been a bit smoother around here. Usually when Bubbalu is having a rough go of it I need to drop everything and spend some serious quality one on one time with him. Unfortunately, that is when I least want to spend time with him.

But it's not about my wants and my needs and my preferences.

I'm a Mama.

After all:

"Remember you are not managing an inconvenience, you are raising a human being" … Kittie Frantz

I made up some free printables, I figure I need to read this quote as much as possible. Take and enjoy!

4 Yr Old Wedding Commentary and a Prince Printable...

Awwwww. I'm watching the royal wedding with Bubbalu and Lil Chick this morning. Bubbalu thinks there are some really cool hats, Lil Chick is a little more concerned with her cereal.

Other Bubbalu Royal Wedding Commentary:

Wow, look at all of those cool hats!

I saw two little boy princes and two little girl princes!

Beautiful!

I think that prince is me.

Are the prince and princess going to kiss?

Why are they not going to kiss up there?

Men don’t wear PINK HATS!!!

Are they going to kiss now?

Cool, which of those singing boys is me?

Are they going to kiss now?

Also, I couldn't help myself but create another printable:

I married my prince almost 11 years ago, I'm the queen of his palace, he's the king of my dreams!

Skidamarink De Dinky Dink, Skidamarink De Doo Printable....

Who can finish that song with me? Oh yes, growing up in the 80's had its perks. Living close enough to the Canadian border ALSO had its perks. Oh yes, Canadian television!

In case you are curious, the song 'Skidamarink' was the finale song in 1910 for the Broadway Musical "The Echo" but was made popular in the mid-80's by a Canadian childrens program called "The Elephant Show".

The middle of the song features the lyrics:

I love you in the morning and in the afternoon,
I love you in the evening and underneath the moon!

They make me smile.

So I created a printable thinking this will be fun to hang on my wall to make me smile daily. Feel free to use them to help YOU smile too :)

Get Yer Fall "Be Calm" Printing ON...

Now that the last day of October is (finally) behind us fall decor is in FULL swing. YAY!

Now, I celebrate fall in one very specific way. I have a hunch that MANY of you also choose to celebrate fall along with me in this one very specific way, don't cha?!

What?

Haven't figured it out yet?

A Pumpkin Spice Latte

Hallelujah my taste buds are dancing just typing those delicious words.

Yes, I do love me some pumpkin flavored sweets.

I thought I would declare my devotion to the deliciousness that is a Pumpkin Spice Latte and made a lil sumpin sumpin for my wall. See, I have this glorious new wideplank white beadboard that is all bare and needing some company in the form of decor.

Enter:

- One thrifted brand new wooden frame (with glass!? That never happens!) for $1.49. Spray paint it Heirloom white and then distress and regress and distress some more til it looks completely stressed out and happy.

Add in:

-Get a lovely "Be Calm" poster printed out. You know, the "Be calm and carry on" thingy's you've seen everywhere.

HOWEVER.

I wanted a special one.

So I made one and printed it out at Costco for $2.99 because my new computer is STILL not hooked up to our photo printer. For only $ 2.99 I really don't care because HELLO THIS IS CHEAPO.

"Be Calm" + Pumpkin Spice Latte :

Oh yeah baby. That's what I'm talking about.

Keep Calm Drink A Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Oh you want one for your wall? OK, I'm in a sharing mood, here you are:

Right click, save, print it out, frame it and be happy.

Happy Fall Y'all!
